Strategic Global Aviation – Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM), Programmed Structural Inspection (PSI), and heavy maintenance/inspection checks on military aircraft such as the UH-60, UH-1, C-130 Hercules aircraft or commercial derivative L-100, De Havilland -7 and -8 and the Beechcraft King Air.

Strategic Global Aviation (SGA) is a world class military aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility located at the former Griffiss Air Force Base (B-52 Strategic Air Command Base) in Rome, NY. SGA’s maintenance bays, paint bay, and maintenance back-shops are facilities that once supported complex heavy maintenance operations on multiple B-52s simultaneously.

We are a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility located in Central NY serving CONUS and OCONUS operations.

SGA’s processes are the gold standard when it comes to C-130 heavy maintenance and service life extension.

At induction, an inspection of the aircraft is performed to determine what is to be repaired or replaced. This inspection could be a PDM (Programmed Depot Maintenance), a PSI (Progressive Structural Inspection), an ISO (Isochronal Inspection) or an HSC (Home Station Check). Our capabilities also include A, B, C, and D checks.
